Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural design and technical strategy for enterprise-grade web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cloud-native solutions.
- Define software architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven architecture, API gateway) and enforce best practices.
- Oversee multi-tenant dashboard and SaaS platform design, ensuring intuitive user experiences.
- Implement secure-by-design principles to meet compliance standards such as PCI DSS or ISO 27001.
- Optimize application performance, cloud costs, and deployment pipelines.
- Mentor senior engineers, conduct design reviews, and promote engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Drive innovation by identifying and evaluating emerging technologies that benefit the organization.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of building and shipping complex web and mobile applications.
- 4+ years in a Solution Architect, Principal Engineer, or equivalent technical leadership role with a heavy focus on architectural design for interactive, user-facing systems.
- Expert-level understanding of modern application architectures (microservices, event-driven architecture, API gateways).
- Deep experience with API design (REST, GraphQL) and patterns for integrating complex front-end applications with multiple backend services.
- Strong proficiency in C#/.NET for backend development and React for front-end applications.
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable).
- Demonstrated experience leading and influencing engineering teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience architecting and designing multi-tenant, user-facing management portals (SaaS control panels, marketplace dashboards).
- Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks (React required; Vue or Angular a plus) and state management patterns.
- Knowledge of real-time communication technologies (WebSockets, SignalR, etc.).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure automation.
- Strong understanding of enterprise-grade security, authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth, SSO, JWT), and regulatory compliance.
- Stay ahead of technology trends, advising on emerging solutions to enhance Clearer’s competitive edge.
- Review and approve major design decisions, ensuring alignment with long-term technical vision.
