Our client is looking to hire a Senior Sales Manager - Software Solutions (B2B, Government and Enterprise) will be responsible for leading a dynamic sales team, driving revenue growth, and expanding the customer base by selling software solutions to a diverse range of clients, including businesses, government agencies, and large enterprises. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling complex software solutions across different sectors, with a deep understanding of the unique requirements and procurement processes of government and enterprise clients.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to penetrate business, government, and enterprise markets.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Lead the sales team in achieving and surpassing revenue goals across all target sectors.
Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in businesses, government agencies, and large enterprises.
- Navigate complex sales cycles and procurement processes within government and enterprise environments.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their unique challenges and providing tailored software solutions.
Team Leadership:
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Set clear performance goals, conduct regular assessments, and implement development plans to enhance team effectiveness.
- Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent with experience in B2B, government, and enterprise sales.
Revenue Growth and Market Expansion:
- Drive sales initiatives and campaigns to grow the customer base and increase market share across all target sectors.
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and alliances that can enhance the company’s market position.
- Expand existing accounts by identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the client portfolio.
Sales Operations and Reporting:
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, and forecasting to ensure alignment with revenue goals.
- Utilize CRM and other sales tools to track customer interactions, manage sales processes, and optimize team productivity.
- Provide regular sales performance reports and insights to senior management.
Collaboration and Cross-functional Alignment:
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure the product offerings meet the needs of target clients.
- Provide feedback on customer requirements and market trends to influence product development and marketing strategies.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure sales processes meet the regulatory requirements, especially in government contracts.
Requirements:
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in software sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in selling software solutions to businesses, government agencies, and large enterprises.
- Deep understanding of the procurement processes and sales cycles within government and enterprise environments.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of software sales, including SaaS, on-premise, and hybrid solutions
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to navigate complex sales environments and manage long sales cycles.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
Location: Lagos, Nigeria.
Remuneration: NGN 1.8 Million Net
