As a Product Designer, you’ll play a key role in shaping user experiences for early-stage startups. You’ll craft intuitive interfaces, validate flows with real users, and collaborate closely with PMs and engineers to ensure designs are both user-centric and technically feasible.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research, map user journeys, and synthesize insights to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI screens for web and mobile products.
- Run usability tests, analyze results, and iterate on designs to optimize user experience.
- Build and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries.
- Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
- Document design decisions, accessibility considerations, and best practices for future reference.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of human-centered design, UX principles, interaction patterns, visual design fundamentals, and accessibility standards.
- Skilled in user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping (Figma, Sketch, Proto), and usability testing.
- Experienced in building and maintaining design systems, creating reusable UI components, and documenting design rationale.
- Proficient in cross-functional communication, collaborating with PMs and engineers to ensure technical feasibility and user-focused solutions.
- Demonstrates empathy, visual/spatial reasoning, rapid prototyping, pattern recognition, detail orientation, collaboration under constraints, and an iterative mindset.
- At least 1+ years as a Product Designer, with a portfolio demonstrating research → solution → measurable outcomes.
- You defend the user perspective in all product discussions.
- You enjoy learning why users act the way they do and applying insights to design.
- You clearly explain design choices and decisions without defensiveness.
- You accept feedback, iterate quickly, and continuously improve your craft.
- You take responsibility for the experience, not just pixels, and balance quality with speed.
- You can find a balanced solution that meets both client needs and user needs.
