As a Community & Growth Manager, you'll be responsible for building Aorta's most valuable asset: a thriving, high-quality network of ambitious diaspora founders. You'll directly impact the studio's pipeline by converting engagement into measurable growth, reducing acquisition costs, and ensuring that our services evolve based on the direct needs.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for building, growing, and scaling the Aorta founder community across all digital channels.
- Design and manage formal advocacy, ambassador, and referral programs that drive founder applications and quality leads to the studio.
- Plan, host, and moderate high-value community activities (e.g., webinars, Q&As, workshops) that foster loyalty and a strong sense of belonging.
- Experimenting with different growth channels (social media, ads, SEO, referrals, email funnels, partnerships, etc.) to attract new users.
- Establish efficient systems to capture, categorize, and report community feedback to inform product and studio strategy development.
- Define, track, and report on key community health metrics, demonstrating the community's ROI against acquisition goals.
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure community channels are supplied with engaging, mission-aligned information.
- Strong knowledge of community building, engagement strategies, and growth marketing across digital platforms (Slack, Discord, newsletters).
- Proficiency in social listening tools, analytics platforms, and community health metrics to drive data-informed decisions.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills to foster a positive and inclusive community.
- Skilled in designing and executing advocacy, ambassador, and referral programs that convert engagement into measurable growth.
- Ability to synthesize community feedback into actionable insights and collaborate effectively with Product, Marketing, and Growth teams.
- Growth mindset with creativity, resilience, and an ownership-driven approach to continuously optimize community engagement and acquisition initiatives.
- You have at least 1+ years in Community Management, Digital Marketing, or Growth roles, with a track record of turning engagement into measurable business outcomes.
- You are highly skilled in moderating and managing modern community platforms (Slack, Discord, Circle, etc) and email marketing tools to foster engagement.
- You use community data, analytics, and sentiment insights to inform strategy, optimize growth, and measure impact.
- You connect effortlessly with diverse audiences and clearly convey ideas, programs, and initiatives.
- You deeply understand the needs of founders and the African diaspora tech ecosystem, creating meaningful, value-driven experiences.
- You combine creativity and analytical thinking to develop initiatives that drive growth and engagement.
- You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, taking ownership of projects and iterating rapidly to achieve results.
