Job Summary
Our client, STI Asset Management is a non-banking financial company that provides comprehensive financial services in the Nigerian financial sector with a focus on investment management and financial advisory services and is staffed with a group of highly trained professionals with over 100 years of experience in financial advisory and asset management services. They are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential clients
- Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies for generating leads and acquiring new clients.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and partners.
- Sales Strategies: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth targets.
- Proposal Development: Prepare compelling business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches to potential clients.
- Partnerships: Identify and establish partnerships to expand the company’s market reach.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare regular reports for management.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve business development processes and strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Business Development Officer, Marketing and Sales.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
