Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Lead Generation:
- Researching and identifying potential customers (through web resources.)
- Building and maintaining a target list of leads based on an ideal customer profile.
- Segmenting leads to ensure outreach is relevant.
Cold Outreach & Engagement:
- Making cold calls, sending cold emails, and using social platforms to reach prospects
- Crafting personalised outreach campaigns to capture attention.
- Following up persistently to nurture leads.
Pipeline & Relationship Management:
- Qualifying leads (deciding if they’re worth pursuing further).
- Scheduling meetings or demos with clients.
- Keeping track of conversations and follow-ups.
Pitching & Value Communication:
- Clearly communicating the company’s value proposition to prospects.
- Handling initial objections and steering conversations toward interest.
- Sharing relevant marketing content (case studies, product sheets, etc.)
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Monitoring outreach metrics (calls made, emails sent, response rates).
- Analysing conversion rates to improve strategy.
- Reporting results and insights to management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience
- Degree in a related field
- Knowledge and experience engaging merchants in the e-commerce sector
- Must have built merchants' relationships at scale on e-commerce platform such as (Shopify, Woocommerce, Bigcommerce etc)
