Senior Backend Nodejs, Express.js, and NestJS Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend systems using Node.js, Express.js, and NestJS.
• Implement and manage RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for seamless data exchange.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis) for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Optimize backend performance through asynchronous programming, caching strategies, and load balancing.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Chai.
• Ensure secure coding practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
• Deploy and manage applications using CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, or Container Registry.
• Work with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud) for hosting and managing services.
• Utilize version control (Git, GitHub) for efficient code management.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in backend development.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Node.js Expertise: Deep understanding of Node.js and its core principles, including asynchronous programming, event loop, and streams.
• JavaScript Proficiency: Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
• Frameworks/Libraries: Experience with popular Node.js frameworks and libraries such as Express.js, NestJS, or Koa.
• Database Experience: Experience with at least one relational or NoSQL database (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis).
• API Design: Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints.
• Testing Frameworks: Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Chai.
• Version Control: Proficient with Git and GitHub.
• Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud.
• Deployment: Experience with deploying and managing applications using CI/CD pipelines either from GitHub Actions or Container Registry.
• Security Best Practices: Understanding of security best practices for backend development.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Significant experience is accepted as a replacement for the degree.
