Senior Associate - Partnerships


Job Summary

Your mission is to provide strategic partnership solutions to our clients and partners in Northern Nigeria. You will be the point of contact for ongoing partnership negotiations and you will be responsible for providing the direction and execution of Youth Engagement services to Jobberman’s clients across Northern Nigeria.

Job Description/Requirements

  • Reporting to: Head, Youth Engagement & Learning
  • Location: Abuja

Key Responsibilities


  • Engage and manage public sector clients and stakeholders in Northern Nigeria
  • Proactively seek and grow partnerships opportunities in Northern Nigeria
  • Prepare and maintain reports related to Youth Engagement projects and activities in Northern Nigeria
  • Represent Jobberman at corporate and strategic partnership events in Northern Nigeria
  • Advise clients and partners leading practice in Youth Engagement
  • Conduct in-depth analysis in providing holistic solutions to clients
  • Help partners strategically implement effective processes and Youth Engagement initiatives in Northern Nigeria.


  • Identify, build and manage collaborative partnerships with governments and other stakeholders push Jobberman Northern Strategy.
  • Creator of Jobberman Northern Advisory Council
  • Manage Northern field agents
  • Northern partnerships, soft skills training adaptations
  • 70% female sign-ups for Soft skills training & Job placements
  • Brand representative in the North
  • Stakeholders Management
  • Coordinate all Northern activities
  • Facilitate and create soft skills training as needed in the Hausa language
  • Implement Jobberman Northern strategy
  • Identify and propose opportunities for how to build and expand our Youth Engagement initiatives in Northern Nigeria to drive more meaningful stakeholders experiences and business results.

Key Skills & Competencies


  • B.Sc or B.A in Business related fields. M.Sc/MBA desired
  • Minimum of 5 years Youth Engagement project management.
  • Experience with NGOs & Public Sector desired
  • Hands-on expertise in research or quantitative and qualitative data analysis and research writing will be given preference
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including internal leadership, and sponsor organizations.


  • Comfortable working with third parties to set up participant recruitment, surveys, or focus groups
  • Entrepreneurial, comfortable with ambiguity and adaptive to change with the ability to use an agile approach to execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distil complex ideas to stakeholders across multiple levels
  • Strong stakeholder and project management skills at all levels of the organization
