Accountant

• Financial Statements and Reports: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for each school and the group as a whole.
• Budget Management: Manage the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts for each school and the group, and report variances.
• Account Reconciliation: Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures for each school and the group.
• Supervision of Bookkeepers: Assist and supervise the bookkeepers in each campus in their day-to-day activities, including but not limited to, recording transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Stock Management: Oversee the management of stock in each campus, including the ordering, receiving, and inventory of supplies and materials.
• Policies and Procedures: Consolidate with your senior colleagues on the development of policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
• Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience
• Excellent interpersonal and people skills
• Proficiency in using collaboration and productivity tools
