Job Summary
Essentially, the school counselor is responsible for the well-being of the students. He/she is required to guide students in areas such as personal and social development, academic support, and career choices and decisions at the secondary school level.

Job Description/Requirements
- Develop and implement robust counseling strategies to meet the individual needs of each student.
- Complete evaluations, analyze results and provide purposeful feedback on student matters.
- Coordinate the school career day programs and other counseling programs.
- Promote social and emotional learning among students, teachers, parents, and the entire school community.
- Ensure the adoption of social and emotional skills in all teaching and learning activities.
- Keep abreast of societal and cultural practices that could impact learning.
Requirements:
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in counseling or other relevant disciplines.
- Professional qualification is an added advantage.
- Analytic thinking, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Attention to detail with good work ethics
