Salon Manager/Floor Supervisor

Team Supervision:

• Oversee daily operations and manage a team of hairstylists and assistants.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, updates, and training needs.
• Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours.

Customer Service:

• Greet and welcome clients, ensuring they have a positive experience from start to finish.
• Address client inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
• Ensure that clients are satisfied with their services and manage feedback.

Operations Management:

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the salon floor.
• Ensure all equipment and tools are properly sanitized and in good working condition.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Styling and Services:

• Perform braiding and other hair services as needed, particularly during busy periods.
• Train and mentor new stylists in various braiding techniques and salon procedures.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hair braiding and styling.

Administrative Duties:

• Manage appointment bookings and ensure efficient use of salon time.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on salon performance and staff productivity.

Sales and Promotion:

• Promote salon services and products to clients.
• Assist in planning and executing marketing initiatives to attract new clients.
• Monitor and achieve sales targets set by the management.

Performance Metrics:

• Client satisfaction and retention rates.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a salon or related beauty industry.
• Proficiency in various braiding techniques and hair care.
• Work 6/7 days a week

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional certification or training in cosmetology is a plus.
