Job Description/Requirements

1. Sales Target;

  • Ensure achievement of sales target 
  • Implement Sales plan 
  • Coordinate Promotional activities

2. Channel Management

  • Monitor performance targets of Channel Partners 
  • Ensure proper and effective communication to Channel partners at all  time  
  • Build and maintain relationships with key players (Moms & pops, retailers  & Dealers) 
  • Ensure all Channel incentives are aligned with organizational goals.
  • Harness new distribution opportunities with alternate channels

3. Operation Delivery

  • Accomplish regional sales in assigned districts, communicating target  expectations to dealers and reviewing compensation actions, enforcing  policies and procedures.
  • Regular feedback to Management regarding, Competition, Trade  developments, Success with promotions/displays, Product quality  complaints.  
  • Maintain accurate listing of expenses/incidentals to work, Selling/  merchandising tools, Company vehicle.
  • Achieve regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional  sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews;  resolving problems; identifying trends; determining regional sales system  improvements; implementing change 
  • Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts  in support of national objectives 
  • Recommend product lines and service changes; surveying consumer  needs and trends; tracking competitors 
  • Implement trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade  spending 
  • Provide sales support to the Sales Team, dealers and installers
  • Distribute promotional material to all dealers timeously and consistently

4. People Management

  • Supervise and establish essential team goals 
  • Facilitate discussion groups 
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of agents including employee  development, performance evaluation 
  • Ensure agents are equipped with the necessary work tools to function  appropriately 
  • Carry out timely performance interventions to motivate team to exceed  sales expectation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Experience  

  • A minimum of 4 years in a commerce, business administration or sales 
  • Experience selling in marketing in FMCG Sector will be an added advantage
  • Experience in trade sales activations
  • Experience in channel partner management
  • Deep sales & distribution knowledge
  • Commercial experience in Nigeria
