Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, partnerships, and direct clients.
- Develop proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to refine our value proposition and uncover new growth opportunities.
Sales Management:
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to conversion, ensuring excellent customer service at all stages.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Track and report on sales metrics, providing regular updates on sales performance and pipeline status to management.
Marketing & Brand Development:
- Create and implement marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and promote our travel packages and services.
- Manage social media channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging and engaging with online followers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content for digital campaigns, email newsletters, and other promotional activities.
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely responses to inquiries and delivering tailored travel solutions.
- Ensure clients receive outstanding service throughout their travel experience, addressing issues swiftly and maintaining loyalty.
Team Collaboration & Training:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align goals, share best practices, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff, enhancing their sales and customer service capabilities.
Reporting and Strategy:
- Prepare and present reports on business development activities, sales, and customer feedback to senior management.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve company revenue targets and objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for optimizing businessgrowth and marketing efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, experience within the travel or hospitality industry is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of the travel industry and customer needs in Nigeria.
- Proven experience in managing business development processes from lead generation to closing deals.
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
