Safety Officer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments of the facility, focusing on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices and emergency procedures.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses, preparing reports and recommending corrective actions.
• Monitor and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with management to promote safety initiatives and ensure a safe work environment.
• Maintain safety records and prepare reports for management review.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety role within the manufacturing industry, with a
• Focus on electrical and mechanical safety systems.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is a plus.
