Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Organize safety training and awareness programs for staff.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
- Collaborate with management to improve safety standards.
Requirements:
- B.Sc./HND in Safety Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 2–4 years’ experience in safety coordination or HSE roles.
- Knowledge of OSHA, ISO, and other safety standards.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in HSE, NEBOSH, or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
