Job Summary

To enhance the bank’s overall profitability through acquiring and managing Retail businesses and emerging Personal Banking customers, creating and maintaining strong relationships that increase customer satisfaction and stickiness. Revenue generation through Risk Assets creation, deposit mobilization, Channels, and Cards cross-sell, and overall PPC growth Own portfolio profitability through effective Relationship management and ensuring excellent customer experience at every touchpoint

Job Description/Requirements

Location: Ilorin

Duties:

  • Responsible for the deposit growth on all retail liabilities (current, savings, and domiciliary accounts)
  • Responsible for Risk Assets generation 
  • Ensure that customer acquisition targets are achieved  
  • Balance sheet growth (assets and liability)
  • Customer acquisition and portfolio management
  • Evaluate customer needs and Cross-sell to increase PPC – Cards, Channels, investment and savings solutions, insurance, etc
  • Work with customer base to meet their financial needs and lifestyle goals by proactively matching needs with available solutions
  • Drive customer campaigns and NBA's
  • Oversee activities of sales support staff attached to the branch to ensure branch productivity and sales targets are met

 Requirements:

  • A good first degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years relevant experience.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Grow retail liability volumes in line with targets 
  • Grow new customer acquisitions in line with targets
  • Achieve revenue generation in line with targets
  • Grow PPC and improve customer stickiness
  • Achieve recommended revenue per customer
  • Achieve recommended percentage of paying customers
  • Reduce Dormancy Ratios in line with targets
  • Increase customer activity in line with targets                                              
  • Ensure full KYC compliance on customers acquired and assigned 
  • Achieve Mobile enrollments and Cards sales in line with the target
  • Ensure excellent customer experience across assigned portfolio

Skills/Competencies:

  • Good understanding of the retail business
  • Good understanding of customer segmentation 
  • Strong understanding of banking and lending products.
  • Experience in understanding the financial needs of all types of clients
  • Excellent business development and marketing skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage expectations
  • Microsoft Office knowledge

Knowledge:
