Restaurant Accountant

 Responsibilities:

• Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain and reconcile all financial records, including daily sales, expenses, and bank transactions. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payments and collections.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and provide reports on variances.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Cost Control: Monitor and analyze food and labor costs to ensure efficient operations and identify areas for cost savings.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including tax laws, labor laws, and industry standards. Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory documents as required.
• Inventory Management: Track and reconcile inventory, including food and beverage supplies, to ensure accurate financial reporting and prevent losses.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Implement recommendations from audit findings.
• Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, including negotiating payment terms and resolving billing issues.
• Financial Systems: Utilize accounting software and systems to streamline financial processes and maintain accurate records.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

• B.Sc/HND qualification.
• No experience is required.

Remuneration: NGN 100,000 - 120,000
