Legal Practice Holdings Group, home to MyCRA Lawyers and Armstrong Doessel Stevenson Lawyers in Queensland Australia, is a dynamic and growing firm dedicated to providing top-tier legal services. We seek a diligent and detail-oriented Paralegal to provide legal support as an independent contractor. You will handle legal research, draft documents, and assist in case management. The ideal candidate must have high-speed internet, backup power, and a dedicated workspace. You will manage your own taxes and benefits as an independent contractor. This position is remote and Full-time. You’ll be supporting one lawyer initially, with the potential to support up to three as our team expands. Your role will involve a mix of legal and administrative tasks, and you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring our lawyers can focus on what they do best—serving our clients.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Legal Support: Provide comprehensive support in family law, wills and estates, commercial law, litigation, and immigration law. This includes preparing legal documents, managing case files, and assisting in court preparations.
- Client Interaction: Communicate with clients, schedule appointments, and manage client correspondence with professionalism and care. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the lawyers and other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the practice. As we grow, your role will evolve to support additional lawyers.
- Remote Team Collaboration: Utilize virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) to work closely with lawyers and staff, ensuring effective communication and teamwork despite the physical distance.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a general practice setting. Experience in family law and commercial law is highly desireable.
- Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail. Proficiency in legal software and MS Office is required.

Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday - AEST (Brisbane Queensland Australia Time). Note: This is a remote position; applicants must be able to work during these hours.
Remuneration: NGN 400,000 - 600,000 Monthly (based on experience and suitability). This is a remote position, and the salary is competitive within the Nigerian market.
