Ø Have a deep understanding of the company's products and services, regional market environment, situation and customer needs.
Ø Fully implement the company's rules and regulations, supervise the standardized development of business, and optimize the model of business structure.
Ø Formulate business strategies implementation plans accordingly and coordinate resources to achieve business objectives.
Ø Manage all assigned market resources, materials and equipment in an efficient manner in order to maximize the use.
Ø Provide advanced negotiation, expertise market intelligence, market insight and prepare comprehensive sales performance reports to management for decision making.
Ø Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies and monitor competitor, economic indicators, industry trends and new market opportunities.
Ø Maintains accurate records and data to support effective and coordinated account management.
Ø Keep abreast of new product and services launches and ensure sales team in the region are on board.
Ø Project and forecast monthly sales quotas, targets, and/or goals for the region and executive against them.
Ø Review sales results monthly and initiate appropriate action steps to deliver the targets and track sales team metrics and share them with company leadership.
Ø Set targets, lead generation plans, performance plans, and rigorous, objective standards for the sales team in the region.
Ø Establish and maintain excellent relationship with distribution networks and customers in an efficient and professional manner.
Ø Provide expertise when setting and adjusting pricing plans and discount rates.
Ø Liaise with warehouse, logistics and production to ensure that sales orders are promptly serviced.
Ø Develop a detailed sales process and ensure the sales team in the region adhere to it correctly.
Ø Resolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and service.
Ø Set a good example for the sales team. Work according to company culture and values, use good communication, and deliver results effectively.
The ideal candidates should possess;
Ø First degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any related discipline.
Ø More preferable with MBA
Ø At least 10 years experiences in Sales, Business Development, and Marketing positions.
Ø Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM Systems and Project Management Tools.
Ø Ability to accurately forecast future sales volumes and market trends.
Ø Excellent at selling intangible solutions into the B2B market.
Ø Driven, energetic, competitive nature and attention to details.
Ø Sense of urgency and ability to take initiative.
Ø Perfect communication, leadership and negotiation skills.
Ø Excellent presentation and reporting skill.
Ø Previous experience in an International Conglomerate would be an added advantage.
Ø Successful track record in large sales deals and in-depth knowledge of Nigeria markets.
