Job Summary

We are looking for a professional with a friendly attitude and the ability to multitask, serve at our hotel’s front desk on a daily basis, and perform a variety of administrative tasks. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact of our hotel and responsible for answering and managing phone calls.

  • Minimum Qualification:HND

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests/clients in a positive and friendly manner as soon as they arrive at the hotel, answer any questions, provide directions around the hotel; alert staff when visitors are around to see them
  • Help maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting visitor information as necessary and maintaining building logs.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mails and deliveries; while managing outgoing mails and packages for pickup.
  • Provide basic and accurate information in person and via emails.
  • Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and free of clutter, with all necessary stationery and material (pens, forms, brochures, etc).
  • Assist new customers who come into the hotel to apply for positions, including providing them with applications, pens, and clipboards along with any reference material they may need.
  • Handle filing and data entry as requested.


Requirements:

  • 2 years of proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Representative, or in a similar role.
  • This position is open to preferably Female candidates.
  • The age range for this position is 22 years and below
  • Computer Literacy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (Fax, Printers, etc)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Multitasking and time management skills with an ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proximity to Ejigbo is necessary
