Job Summary

We are looking for a highly capable real estate manager to ensure that our property and related finances are optimally managed. In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating rental agreements, purchasing supplies, and supervising staff members and groundskeepers. To ensure success, real estate managers should possess extensive experience in real estate management and the ability to negotiate contracts. An outstanding real estate manager will be someone with sound financial knowledge who can successfully manage a property.

Job Description/Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

Work with Real Estates Development team to:

  • Manage the purchase, sale, rental, or development of properties.
  • Scout for and engage with prospective subscribers to our Real Estate Solutions Services.

  • Monitor real estate income and expenditure, as well as collect payments.

  • Determine rental income and negotiating lease agreements.

  • Negotiating contracts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.

  • Keeping owners informed on taxes, occupancy rates, and lease expiration dates.

  • Resolving complaints from residents and tenants.

  • Preparing financial statements and records.

  • Plan and execute meetings with stakeholders including estates owners, tenants, management, contractors.

  • Manage Building facilities and recommend maintenance programs, including but not limited to repairs and renovations.

  • Establish and maintain good customer–client relationships.

  • Work with other team members to supervise construction projects.

  • Develop business ideas and opportunities, assess and recommend risk management strategies.

  • Managing all administrative tasks like submitting insurance claims, filing legal documents, and preparing invoices.

  • And other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of the department

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business administration, or project management

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in real estate, project management, or similar.

  • Experience in property management including the coordination of housekeeping, maintenance, and renovations

  • Great leadership and project management abilities

  • Show a strong ability to critically analyze market problems and define clear, detailed, and logical product and service solutions.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficiency in real estate management software, like Buildium and AppFolio

  • Experience in managing payments, negotiating contracts, and determining rental rates

  • In-depth knowledge of applicable property law, taxes, and financial statements

  • Knowledge of property maintenance and procurement of vendors and suppliers

  • Ability to resolve resident and tenant complaints, as well as to supervise workers and contractors

  • Advanced ability to keep property owners and investors updated


    Salary: NGN120,000- NGN150,000
