Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

• Prepare precise cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for civil engineering projects.
• Monitor project costs, track expenditures, and ensure adherence to budgets. 
• Prepare interim valuations, variation orders, and final accounts for projects. 
• Assess and manage risks related to project costs and timelines. 
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering or construction projects.
• Professional certification (e.g., NIQS, RICS) is an advantage. 
• Strong knowledge of construction costs, materials, and procurement processes in Nigeria.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., QS Cad, CostX, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. 
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. 
• Knowledge of local regulations and standards in the Nigerian construction industry. 
• Team player with a proactive and results-driven approach.
