Job Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a beauty retail company who is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing and Procurement Manager. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our product offerings and driving the success of our B2B partnerships. This hybrid position is ideal for a beauty industry professional who is equally passionate about product selection and building strategic relationships. You will be responsible for sourcing and selecting the best beauty products for distribution while also managing and growing our partnerships with key retail partners. This role requires a blend of creativity, market insight, and strong negotiation skills.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Source new brands, products, and retail partners aligned with our strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for partnering with retailers that aligns with the company’s growth objectives and market expansion plans.
- Track and analyze the performance of retail partnerships, using data to optimize product offerings, promotional strategies, and overall partnership effectiveness.
- Negotiate the best possible terms with suppliers and retailers, ensuring favorable margins and trade discounts.
- Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and management of contracts with retail partners.
- Make buying decisions based on a sound commercial framework to maximize sales and profitability.
- Cultivate and maintain strong brand and retailer relationships to secure exclusive opportunities and first-to-market offerings.
- Oversee the ordering process, ensuring compliance with all relevant processes.
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership agreements.
- Continuously explore opportunities to enhance the consumer experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in beauty buying & partnership management or related roles.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple retail partnerships and initiatives simultaneously.
- A deep understanding of the beauty market and emerging trends.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive favourable supplier terms.
- An analytical mindset with a focus on driving sales and profitability.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and processes.
- A collaborative approach with cross-functional teams.
- Creative thinking to enhance brand presence and consumer experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail.
