Job Summary

A firm in the Financial sector is seeking for qualified candidates to fill the role of a public relations & management officer.

  • Minimum Qualification: Degree
  • Experience Level: Mid level
  • Experience Length: 3 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities: 

  • Planning PR campaigns and strategy through competitive research; platform determination; benchmarking; messaging and audience identification.

  • Writing and editing leaflets, brochures, banners, press releases, speeches, newsletters, and website contents.

  • Sourcing and Arranging for advertising with media houses or promotional materials when required.  

  • Liaising with Business Development on avenues for Corporate Social Responsibility.

  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information to change the public perception of the brand.

  • Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions

  • Representing the Company at events such as press launches, news conferences, exhibitions and sponsorships

  • Reports directly to the Head, Corporate Services


Requirements: 

  • HND or BSc in Communications; Marketing, Business; New Media or Public Relations.

  • At least 3 years’ post NYSC experience.

  • Proven working experience in marketing or as a digital media specialist.

  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.

  • Demonstrable branding experience and social analytics tools knowledge.

  • Adequate knowledge of web design& development 

  • Knowledge of brand marketing and good understanding of Market branding channels.

  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, and customer oriented with good multitasking ability

  • Fluency in English and 2 major languages of Nigeria  will be added advantage
