Job Summary
Our client is looking to hire a suitable candidate to develop and drive the strategy for the Proprietary Trading Division (Fixed Income and Equities Desk) ensuring that all set targets are met
- Minimum Qualification: HND
- Experience Level: Senior level
- Experience Length: 5 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate other members of the PTD team
- Strategizing with brokers and other traders for optimal trading
- Identifying and managing risk in trade portfolios
- Maximize trading opportunities in the market
- Ability to make quick decisions based on policy reforms and changes in the market
- Ensure compliance with all internal, statutory and regulatory rules.
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of HND or BSc degree in any discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- The ideal candidate must possess Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers' certificate
- Must be trading personally (risk taker)
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Excellent communication skills
