Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Director, Client Relations, this is a corporate support function serving in a leading role in developing realistic pricing proposals for active business development opportunities under consideration. This role will support all pricing functions related to business development activities for our U.S.-based operations. The Proposal Pricing Specialist will also be tasked with facilitating the various tasks required for the identification and pricing of all products, services, and resources required to support the referenced opportunities. The successful candidate is required to function remotely, while actively working with other members of the business development team, in accordance with routine guidelines and ongoing supervision.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Review Request for Proposals (RFPs) and participate in business development and proposal activities
  • Construct accurate assessments of mandatory minimum contractual hours of services to be provided for the duration of the contract period
  • Maintain familiarity with compensation and benefits structure as dictated by contractual requirements and/or jurisdiction where services will be provided
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of Request for Proposal (RFP) identifying all costs associated with fulfilling contractual requirements, i.e., uniforms, equipment, vehicles, insurance, etc.
  • Review RFPs to determine general and specific cost requirements and ensure proposals capture all project-related expenses and comply with both business and operational requirements
  • Support the development of realistic cost proposal schedules that meet RFP and company requirements within strict deadlines
  • Generate detailed pricing using a pricing model, proposal structure, and pricing strategy with MS Excel
  • Prepare cost volume documents in line with specific instructions provided within the RFP
  • Perform duties in collaboration with members and leadership of the proposal development team to integrate pricing and program strategy into a winning proposal
  • Collaborate efforts with cross-functional teams including operations, human resources, training, and programs management for planning, organization, production, and revisions to price/cost volumes
  • Provide all relevant price justifications and explanatory responses to support data to justify adequacy, realism reasonableness, and audit validation
  • Perform RFP and Pricing analysis both before and after a contract award
  • Perform assessment and effectively communicate risks and opportunities associated with estimated project costs
  • Capture lessons learned to implement ongoing improvements to the proposal pricing templates.


Requirements:

  • Candidate should possess a 4-year, business-related degree from an accredited university/college or equivalent experience, preferably in a(n) Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
  • Candidate must be proficient in using MS Office 365 including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
  • Candidate should possess demonstrated experience in serving a key role in supporting proposal pricing efforts
  • Candidate must have 3+ years of experience supporting Client Prospecting, Customer Service, Business Development, and/or Sales and Marketing related functions.
  • Note: Strong consideration for candidates with experience supporting a U.S.-based corporation.
  • Candidate should possess soft skills including attention to detail, work-flow organization, ability to use initiative, and ability to follow instructions
  • Candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in the English Language.
  • Candidate should have demonstrated experience in managing multiple tasks and projects, analyzing information, mass data entry, activity-based reporting, and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.


Remuneration: Base Compensation of NGN 250,000 per month including all mandatory employee benefits.
