Job Summary
AS a Software Development Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's projects. This includes managing a team of employees to ensure projects are completed on time and within their specified budgets.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Setting project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals
- Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates, and status reports
- Managing resources for projects, such as computer equipment and employees
- Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities
- Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget
- Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence
- Conducting risk assessments for projects
- Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress
Responsibilities:
- BA/BSc required
- MA/MS degree preferred
- Project Management Professional certification (PMP) from PMI
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably within a software development or information technology environment
- An IT Project Manager needs to have a strong set of skills in order to do their job effectively, including:
- Demonstrated experience with productivity tools, including MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, collaboration software (e.g.: SharePoint), Trello, Jira, Slack, MS Teams, and Zoom)
- Proficiency in managing medium-to-large projects, their dependencies, team members, other resources, schedules, and in prioritizing and delegating accordingly
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Diplomacy and professionalism in working with project sponsors, executives, stakeholders, and steering committees
- Accomplished development of charters, project management plans, work breakdown structures, schedules, status reports, success metrics, etc.
- Experience with managing organizational change
- Notable follow-through and dependability
- Polished customer service skills, especially negotiation/persuasion
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, motivate staff, and achieve goals and objectives
- Autonomous decision-making whenever needed, as well as group consensus facilitation
- Proven analytic and problem-solving skills
- Desire and ability to coach, mentor, and train other staff members
- Demonstrated creativity in process improvement initiatives
- Ability to facilitate and work within a complex, multi-site environment
- Process improvement knowledge helpful
- Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledge of different operating systems, network administration, and service desk administration
- Project management and leadership skills for managing projects and the teams involved with them
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project completion
- Organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget
- Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills
