Job Summary

The PMO would be the primary party for driving implementation and ongoing monitoring of the pension industry’s strategy and other projects that the industry is tracking. Primary party for ensuring that timelines with regards to strategy implementation are met, deliverables are achieved through constant reminders, provision of updates, providing gap analysis and other pertinent materials to Management.

  • Minimum Qualification: Degree
  • Experience Level: Mid level
  • Experience Length: 4 years

Job Description

  • The job holder’s duties and responsibilities are outlined as follows:
  • Preparation of presentation, charts and other pertinent documents to internal and external parties on areas relating to the industry strategy and implementation
  • Getting input into agreed strategy from various stakeholders
  • Collating various input and presenting same in a format understandable by all
  • Following up with various parties on their deliverables with regards to strategy implementation
  • Providing regular updates to CEO/EXCO regarding where we are on the implementation timetable
  • Highlighting gaps in terms of meeting our agreed strategy deliverables 
  • Suggesting areas of change/modification to implementation timelines
  • Be the central repository for data and documents regarding special projects that we are involved in 
  • Preparation of presentations, and other documents for internal and external use on areas relating to the industry strategy and other projects that the association is tracking
  • Liaising with vendors and other third parties on behalf of the association
  • Any other task that may be assigned to you

Qualities and Requirement

The job holder should:

  • Understand the pension industry
  • Possess good presentation skills
  • Be conversant with project management 
  • Be good with relationship management and negotiation
  • Be disciplined, diligent and timely with deliverables
  • Be good with written and oral communication
  • Be able to engage at various levels of an organization
  • Be resilient, willing to go the extra mile and entrepreneurial
