Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required for the Job:
ND/NCE/Certificates in Food Science and Technology, Science Laboratory Technology, Chemical/Mechanical/production engineering and any other related courses,
One (1) year relevant working experience in the manufacturing setting of a FMCG (special attention on automated settings).
Knowledge of GHP HACCP/GMP, global safety practices.
Basic computer appreciation and experience In Tubular heat exchanger its an added advantage.
Mission and Long-Term Goal: To learn, understand and be able to independently man machines and processes that promote excellence in food safety, quality and quantity productivity, cost management in accordance with the company’s budget and time lines.
Short-Term Goal: To work with the line manager, the General Manager Processing, and other team members to drive factory setup so that Tomato Jos can commission the facility in March 2021 and conduct a commercial production run in same month.
Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and CIP of the used tools.
To complete/populate trainee's log sheet on daily basis
To continuously improve in production knowledge, skills and abilities.
To obediently carry out every official instructions from the line manager and other superior authorities.
To successfully execute, quarterly competency tests with 80% success factor.
To participate in every maintenance schedules (Preventive maintenance) of all equipment based on the anticipated and planned production.
To continuously carryout programmed job rotation that covered all production activities and sections, to demonstrate mastery.
Additional Qualifications and Experience That Will Set You Apart
Prior experience with automated consumer packaging machine operations
Prior experience with tomato processing, edible oils, sugar or starch production, or other food production requiring evaporation and tubular heat exchange
Fluency in Hausa

Remuneration: Salary is commensurate to experience within the range of industry standards. A communication allowance, pension and health insurance are included, and an annual performance-based bonus may be awarded at the discretion of the executive management team. Please note that adequate security is provided to the whole Tomato Jos team.
Salary: (₦30,000 – ₦50,000)
