Job Summary

The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, leading, directing, and monitoring all production and maintenance activities to maximize the use of the organizations resources to deliver finished goods to customer demand and meet established production specifications and schedules.

  • Minimum Qualification : Degree

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all facets of production facility performance to optimize efficiency and labour utilization.
  • Creation and management of all production-related data, including information on downtime, waste, process sheets, non-conformances, and on-hold logs, with appropriate handling as needed.
  • Consistently uphold compliance with food safety and quality assurance standards as dictated by the company, customers, and relevant legal requirements.
  • Lead daily production meetings, convening with area supervisors, maintenance personnel, quality assurance team, and material supply teams.
  • Guarantee that production parameters are fine-tuned to consistently manufacture high-quality products meeting the specified standards.
  • Ensure all costs are monitored and controlled to ensure operation within budgets.
  • Oversee attendance, punctuality, annual leave.
  • Conduct employee appraisals and probationary performance reviews as well as ongoing performance management
  • Address employee concerns and manage disciplinary matters in collaboration with the Factory Manager and HR department.
  • Provide recommendations and propose new initiatives for an evolving process while establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training matrices as needed.
  • Guarantee that the handling and utilization of all ingredients and finished products follow a zero-waste approach, thereby minimizing the risk of write-offs to the business.
  • Any other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience leading a team in a flour manufacturing or similar Industry role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Lead team-based problem solving
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, optimistic, can-do attitude
  • Must be a leader who can encourage others to take ownership and responsibility.
  • Must be enthusiastic, energetic, optimistic, and have a can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving ability and process-type problems, with a demonstrated ability to get to the root cause.
