Job Description/Requirements

The Role Goals: Devising and using fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies; Discovering profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships; Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms; Strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. Discovering the best ways to cut procurement expenses.

Other Responsibilities:
 Liaises with key company employees to determine their product and service needs
 Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times
 Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company
 Identifies and researches potential new suppliers
 Researches new products and services to meet company's goals
 Assesses total costs of company purchases
 Develops and implements strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels
 Oversees a team of purchasing agents (in large companies)
 Reports to the GM Finance and Operation.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required for the Job:
 Proven minimum of five (5) years post graduate working experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer or Head of Procurement.
 Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market, with relevant experience in collecting and analyzing data.
 Talent in negotiations and networking, with strong leadership capability.
 Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
 Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
 Graduate of supply chain management, logistics, accounting or business administration.
 Must have computer organizational skills and a high level of excel competency. Distinctive Skills: People Person, Good at Networking, Excellent Written and Oral
Communication Skills, Data Analysis, Superior Organisational Skills, Good Business Instincts, Mathematics Skills, Good Negotiator, Financial analyst, certified Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Experience That Will Set You Apart
 Experience in writing reports and communicating effectively.
 Willingness and ability to work under tight timeline, and flexibility to engage in multiple projects
simultaneously, and to work independently and with minimum supervision.
 Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by the ability to develop and maintain relationships with people from a variety of backgrounds.
 Curiosity, critical thinking, and a demonstrated interest to learn.
 Strong management, coaching, problem solving and conflict-resolution skills.

Remuneration: Salary is commensurate to experience within the range of industry standards. A communication allowance, pension and health insurance are included, and an annual performance- based bonus may be awarded at the discretion of the executive management team.
