Job Description/Requirements

Other Responsibilities:
 Carry out repairs and replacement damaged parts.
 Testing motor vehicles and equipment.
 Diagnosing the causes of any malfunctions including electrical faults.
 Recommend and assist in ordering parts from suppliers.
 Carry out inspections of completed repairs to ensure that the vehicle is safe to be driven.
 Pulling parts off vehicles and tagging them for inventory.
 Inspect and test all mechanical units and maintain an organized neat and safe bay.
 Following a checklist to ensure that all key work has been done as at when due.
 Service and keep records of M&R of all equipment.
 Assist in operating, repairing and servicing of all agriculture equipment.
 Following safety policies and procedures.
 Assisting in assembling cars and trucks.
 Completing administrative reports on any work performed.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required for the Job:

 Minimum of BSc/HND Auto Mechanical engineering, Auto electrical engineering or any other related certification.
 Five (5) years relevant working experience in an Automobile industry.
 Vast knowledge in HSE, Microsoft suits, intranet shuffling, Google sheet, and general computer appreciation.
 Must be willing to work under difficult conditions with a range of personalities and cultures.
 Punctual with a “no excuse” attitude.

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Experience That Will Set You Apart
 Fabrication skills
 Welding experience
 Electrical skills or ability to diagnose faults and work with electronic diagnostic readers.
 Experience repairing new vehicles and understanding the electrical systems with newer machines.
 Experience at a certified dealer shop or a certified mechanical shop.
 Ability to communicate via email, in person, or over the phone with great efficacy.
 Willingness and ability to work under tight timeline, and flexibility to engage in multiple projects simultaneously.
 Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision.
 Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by the ability to develop and maintain relationships through effective communication.
 Curiosity, critical thinking, and a demonstrated interest to learn.
 Strong management, coaching, problem solving and conflict-resolution skills.
 Highly organized and meticulous about your work as well as your work area.

Remuneration: Salary is commensurate to experience within the range of industry standards. A communication allowance, pension and health insurance are included, and an annual
performance-based bonus may be awarded at the discretion of the executive management team. Kindly note that adequate security is provided to the whole Tomato Jos team.
