Job Summary
The Procurement Officer is vital for maintaining our product quality and cost efficiency. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the supply chain from vendor identification and negotiation to ensuring the timely, quality-controlled, and cost-effective purchase of all operational inputs, including food raw materials, etc

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Identify and rigorously evaluate new vendors, negotiating favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to meet quality specifications and reduce Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
- Budget & Cost Control: Track, manage, and report on all procurement budgets, actively flagging and justifying variances. Target monthly savings in key expenditure categories.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct spot checks on incoming items to ensure they meet stringent quality and specification standards before acceptance by the store manager.
- Documentation & Compliance: Generate and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure all procurement transactions are fully documented and reconciled weekly with storekeeper and accounting records.
- Inventory Coordination: Collaborate closely with the store manager and head cook to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent stock-outs of critical items.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of dedicated experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Exceptional negotiation, record-keeping, and analytical reporting skills (proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is a must).
- High level of integrity, discipline, and attention to detail.
- Experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry is a significant advantage.
