Job Description/Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required for the Job:
ND/NCE/Certificates in Food science and Technology, science laboratory technology, Chemical/Mechanical engineering and any other related courses,
3 years relevant working experience in the manufacturing setting of FMCG industry.
knowledge of juice extraction, Vacuum dehydrator and refining.
Good knowledge of GHP/HACCP/GMP, and basic computer appreciation.
Experience In Tubular heat exchanger/Pasteurizer, its an added advantage.
Mission and Long-Term Goal: To manage all concentration/evaporation processes that promote excellence in food safety, quality and quantity productivity, cost management in accordance with the company’s budget and time lines.
Short-Term Goal: To work with the line manager, the General Manager Processing, and other team members to set up concentration processes and procedures (SOP), and drive factory setup so that Tomato Jos can commission the facility in March 2021 and conduct a commercial production run in same month.
Other Responsibilities:
Manage motorized machines, pneumatic valves of the described machine.
Generation and processing of data from field instruments/tools for processing operation.
Ability to interpret recipe management page.
To monitor temperature gauge, pressure gauge, and other utility required to be monitored.
To manage, and calibrate brix meter and PH meter etc.
Maintenance of adequate and Updated record keeping.
Concentration of fruits and Tomatoes.
Additional Qualifications and Experience That Will Set You Apart
Prior experience with automated consumer packaging machine operations
Prior experience with tomato processing, edible oils, sugar or starch production, or other food production requiring evaporation and tubular heat exchange
Fluency in Hausa

Remuneration: Salary is commensurate to experience within the range of industry standards. A communication allowance, pension and health insurance are included, and an annual performance-based bonus may be awarded at the discretion of the executive management team. Please note that adequate security is provided to the whole Tomato Jos team.
Salary: (₦50,000 – ₦100,000)
