Primary School Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Plan and Deliver Lessons: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards for elementary grade levels.
• Student Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and learning.
• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the elementary curriculum, incorporating best practices and innovative teaching strategies.
• Individualized Support: Identify and support students with diverse learning needs, providing additional guidance and resources as necessary.
• Parent Communication: Maintain open communication with parents and guardians to discuss student progress, achievements, and any concerns.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and contribute to the school's academic initiatives.
• Extracurricular Involvement: Engage in school events, activities, and clubs to foster a sense of community and enhance students' learning experiences.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
•  Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC teaching experience in economics.
• Teaching certification or professional qualifications in education are a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of economics curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using technology and educational software.
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
• Passionate about teaching and committed to student success.
