The Presales Engr will be responsible for supporting the sales and business development teams by providing technical expertise, solution demonstrations, and customer engagement for cybersecurity solutions. This role bridges the gap between technical capabilities and customer requirements, ensuring that proposed solutions are effectively positioned

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable cybersecurity solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) sessions for customers.
- Translate technical product features into clear business value for clients.
- Provide pre-sales technical support, including preparing technical documents, responding to customer inquiries, and developing solution proposals.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to customize solutions that align with customer needs.
- Support marketing initiatives such as webinars, seminars, and industry events.
- Maintain a strong understanding of cybersecurity market trends and competitor offerings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- Certifications in cybersecurity or sales/solution engineering (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent) will be considered a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, especially IDS/IPS and network security.
- Experience with intrusion detection/monitoring solutions or similar cybersecurity products.
- Ability to create and deliver engaging product presentations and demonstrations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
- Proposal writing and solution design experience.
- Familiarity with SIEM, firewalls, and security compliance frameworks is an advantage.
- 2–5 years of experience in presales, technical sales, or solution consulting within IT or cybersecurity.
- Proven track record in supporting sales teams with complex technical solutions.
- Experience working directly with customers in the enterprise or government sectors is highly desirable.
