Grinding & Pulverizer Operator

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and monitor grinding and pulverizing machines, adjusting settings as needed to achieve desired particle size and consistency.
• Load raw materials into the hopper of the grinder/pulverizer according to production requirements.
• Monitor machine performance, identify and troubleshoot malfunctions, and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Regularly inspect the ground material to ensure it meets quality standards regarding particle size distribution and purity.
• Collect samples for quality testing and document results as per company procedures
• Adjust grinding parameters to achieve the desired product consistency.
• Adhere to strict safety guidelines, including proper personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections of machinery to identify potential hazards.
• Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately.
• Maintain detailed production logs, including operating parameters, material usage, and quality control data.
• Document any maintenance activities performed on the grinding and pulverizing equipment. 

Requirements:

• Understanding of grinding and pulverizing machinery, including operating principles, safety procedures, and basic maintenance tasks.
• Ability to closely monitor machine operation and product quality to ensure consistent results.
• Capability to lift and handle heavy materials, as needed.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot machine issues, making necessary adjustments to maintain production.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
• Experience in setting up and operating various types of grinding machines
• Knowledge of different grinding techniques and materials
• Understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to grinding operations
• Ability to inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as necessary
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
