Our company is looking to hire an Office Manager to be responsible for the general operation of our office.

Job Description

  • Duties will involve supervising our office staff to ensure maximum productivity, drafting necessary correspondence, organizing documents, taking proper inventory, and purchasing office supplies.
  • You will also be required to create presentations and produce management-level reports.
  • The main goal of an office manager is to ensure that the office operates smoothly and efficiently and to be a successful hire, you will need to have prior experience in office administration.
  • You will also need to be proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. A Bachelor's degree is required.

 

OFFICE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overseeing general office operation.
  • Coordinating appointments or meetings and managing staff calendars & schedules.
  • Supervising, mentoring, training, and coaching our office staff and delegating assignments to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Attending to visitors, overseeing correspondences, and delivering world-class service to our customers.
  • Coordinating domestic and international travel, including flight, hotel, and car rental reservations.
  • Purchasing office supplies and equipment and maintaining proper stock levels.
  • Producing reports, composing correspondence, and drafting new agreements.
  • Creating presentations and other management-level reports.
  • Ensuring company policies are followed.
  • Optimizing profits by controlling costs.
  • Hiring, training, and developing new employees.
  • Resolving customer issues to their overall satisfaction.
  • Maintaining an overall management style that follows company best practices while motivating employees and ensuring a focus on the mission.
  • Providing leadership and direction to all employees.
  • Preparing and presenting employee reviews, taking disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Working closely with the management team to lead staff.
  • Overseeing retail inventory.
  • Organizing employee schedule.
  • Ensuring that health, safety, and security rules are followed.
  • Ensuring a consistent standard of customer service.

 

OFFICE MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Five years of experience in office administration.
  • Office management experience is a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management.
  • Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial management.
