Nursery School Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that support the intellectual and social development of young children.
• Create and maintain a nurturing and safe learning environment.
• Assess and monitor each child’s progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regularly.
• Utilize creative teaching methods to keep children engaged and motivated.
• Prepare and organize educational materials and resources for classroom activities.
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage positive behavior.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive educational setting.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events as needed.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of a Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE).
• Proven experience teaching nursery or early years classes.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Patient, caring, and passionate about working with young children.
