Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sustainable, achievable, and profitable Sales and marketing targets for Sales and marketing staff. Also, Design and implement activities for achieving such sales marketing targets.
  • Draws out and implements effective and achievable Sales and marketing budget, and Leads nationwide sales and marketing team members, to achieve the company’s sales and marketing targets based on company policy.
  • To develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies
  • Controls the activities of the field force ensuring company policies are strictly adhered to.
  • Plan and implement suitable and strategic training for the recruit, field, and office sales and marketing staff.
  • He works with the store and the field staff and ensures that there is no expired product in the store and in the field.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales and marketing forecasts and performance reports for management’s review.
  • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency.
  • Develop and monitor the implementation of sales and marketing work plans with the aim of achieving the pre-set sales & marketing targets while coaching and managing sales and marketing teams.
  • Ensures that the sales and marketing department executes its assigned functions according to laid down company policy.
  • Access Reps' performance and make necessary recommendations for appraisal, discipline, and commendations.


Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 10 years of experience as a pharmacist
  • Proven work experience as a National sales and marketing manager. Experience managing a high-performance Sales and marketing team.
  • This position is open to both Male and Female applicants
  • The ideal candidate for this role should be experienced in Pharmaceutical Operations
  • Be the face of the company's corporate organization, mediating with NGOs, Government Agencies, etc.
  • Heis a trusted voice in the field.
  • He is the management of the field force, and also a messenger to the management.
  • He has the ability to understand and analyze sales and marketing performance metrics.
  • He must have strong communication and team management skills.
  • He must have good interpersonal relationship skills, and the ability to build strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders.
  • Must have analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • He makes decision that has to do with financial decision and commitment in the field but do not handle money.
  • He must have foresight, insight, and hindsight.
  • He should be able to take calculated risks and take responsibility for his actions, whether positive or negative.
  • He must have a good friendly and firm attitude towards the field force as well as other staff in the organization.
  • He is a team player per excellent but his loyalty must first be to the company.
  • As a National sales and marketing manager, ultimately, you should aspire to develop and maintain successful relationships with large customers.


Remuneration: NGN 3,000,000 - 4,000,000 per annum
