About the Role
As a Mobile App Developer Intern (React Native), you’ll work closely with our product and design teams to enhance the SPREE mobile app experience. You’ll help us build, optimize, and roll out new features that make financial services simpler, faster, and more user-friendly.
This internship is ideal for someone looking to gain real-world experience in building scalable mobile applications and growing alongside a dynamic, impact-driven startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the design team to implement intuitive and visually appealing UI components.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code in React Native.
- Assist in testing, debugging, and performance optimization of the SPREE app.
- Participate in regular product reviews, contributing ideas to improve user experience.
- Work with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth functionality.
- Support ongoing app revamps and feature rollouts on both Android and iOS platforms.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of React Native and mobile app development principles.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and Git version control.
- Strong passion for technology, startups, and product development.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Access to a laptop and reliable internet connection (remote work setup).
Nice to Have
- Experience with Figma or mobile design tools.
- Understanding of Firebase, Redux, or other mobile architecture tools.
- Previous contribution to a project or app (personal or collaborative).
