-Reporting to the Regional Key Accounts Manager, the MR will be responsible for executing the portfolio strategy for company’s current in-line brands in the region with key responsibilities for:
-Demand generation, Promotion and Sales of company products /services in a territory or geographical area.
-Developing and maintaining relationships with KOLs, HCPs and other customers within the territory
-Developing and Managing accounts with a view to driving sales and achieving set targets in the territory.
Developing territory business plan and delivering results
Develop monthly sales plan to enable the delivery of sales expectations in respective territory
Implement tactical plans and campaigns with key internal stakeholders in your territory, capable of delivering significant growth with a portfolio of in-line brands
Ensure that business plan meets agreed targets while expenses remain within budget.
Ensure proper monthly accounts reconciliation with respective accounts according to Company policies.
Develop and Manage new accounts: retail, clinics and hospitals
Ensure incremental growth in customer base of respective accounts
Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner to maintain trust
Ensure timely products’ delivery to Customers/Accounts
Ensure proper accounting and monthly reconciliation of all customer transactions in the territory
Provide monthly, quarterly and annual business reports to KAM
Ensure proper territory mapping, customer segmentation and targeting across all portfolios within the territory
Recruit and Develop a robust customer base
Day to Day detailing of company products and supportive scientific information to HCPs
Development and engagement of KOLs and other HCPs
Implementation of clinical meetings and other promotional activities/campaigns
Forge valuable customer relationships with Territory Accounts and Customers
Documenting customer visits and field activities through weekly and monthly reports, using company approved templates
Ensure that all activities and behaviors are in accordance with local legislation and Support Company’s goal of becoming one of Nigeria’s most trusted pharmaceutical partner.
Forecasting, Monitoring & Evaluation
Assess territory business accounts and key stakeholders (HCPs, pharmacists, nurses, retailers etc) in order to:
Support annual, quarterly and rolling monthly in-market forecasts for all brands
Highlight any changes versus forecast and proffer solutions to any shortfall.
Local functions: Reps, Regional KAM, National Managers & External Consultants, Sales Admin,Finance, HR
HCPs, Pharmacists, Nurses, Key Opinion Leaders
Key accounts, Procurement Agencies & Institutions
This role requires travels within your territory.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences.
Proven medical sales experience will be a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Valid driver's license.
Strong negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Effective communication skills both written and verbal: Fluency in English (and one or more local languages could be beneficial)
Exceptional customer service skills.
Persuasive and resilient.
Prior experience with Customers/Accounts in respective territory will be beneficial
Ideally with an entrepreneurial mindset, a self-starter and excellent problem-solver
Ability to plan an prioritize own work to meet quality standards and deadlines
Desire to work as part of a small, cohesive and collaborative team
