Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the diverse needs of students.
- Teach a range of mathematics courses, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics, ensuring a clear and thorough understanding of mathematical principles.
- Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, tests, and projects, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the mathematics curriculum and participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with teaching methodologies and educational trends.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school administrators regarding academic performance, behavioral concerns, and progress toward educational goals.
- Support students' overall development, including their emotional and social growth, to help them build confidence and a positive attitude towards learning mathematics.
Requirements:
- HND/B.Sc in a related field
