Job Summary
African Things designs and produces a wide range of African inspired products for all kinds of wholesale customers both in Nigeria and overseas. We are looking for a marketing head who will present proposals to corporations looking for gift items for their upcoming events. They will also ensure that all digital marketing efforts are also carried out.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop a list of potential corporate client, stating what events they have organized in the past and the gift items they distributed at the event.
- Arrange presentation meetings with potential clients by either sending emails or calling the person in-charge of gifting and branding.
- Attend presentation meetings with sales rep to convert client
- Follow up/ keep in touch with potential and past clients
- Attend fairs and exhibition with marketing materials like flyers and pull up banner etc.
- Negotiate price with printers to make brochures and flyers
- Take and arrange for pictures of products for both website and social media content
- Update website with SEO keywords and fix broken links
- Develop marketing reports
- Develop and manage marketing strategy
- Track which marketing strategy is bringing in leads.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of MS Suite
- High proficiency in marketing and closing of sales
- Digital marketing skill (desired but not essential)
