Marketing and Sales Executive

Job Summary

The job holder will oversee the onboarding on sellers and buyers onto the i-Weave e-commerce platform.

Job Description/Requirements


  • Understand the brand’s mission and vision – who we are and what we stand for and be able to interpret it to potential partners/customers 
  • Surf the internet to research investors and potential partners in the hair and hair care product/tools sectors
  • Source for the appropriate target audience to be onboarded that will suit the business and mission of i-Weave:

          a. Sellers as the target audience – onboard potential partners by introducing and marketing the business to wholesaler and retail merchants that deal in                                                                           hair and/or hair care products/tools through cold visits, cold calls, referrals, social media advert 

          b. Buyers as the target audience – onboard potential customers by introducing and marketing the business to the community via all available means of                                                                              social media advert, referrals

  • Create a database to keep track of all existing and potential partners/customers
  • Ensure a routine check and follow up on potential partner/customers
  • Establish a good customer relationship with existing and potential partners/customers
  • Keep in high regards the brand’s reputation in all dealings with existing and potential partners/customers
  • Research and analyses market trends and competitor offerings to grow new leads
  • Identify areas for improvement in product offerings, sales tactics, marketing strategy, and promotional activities
  • Be responsible for keeping the website content current to optimize the search engine advantage (i-Weave comes up quickly when someone searches the type of business)
  • Monitor and manage i-Weave’s social media contents Monitor marketing and sales performance and continually refine our process to convert customers
  • Give a weekly report of the marketing and sales performance

Professional Requirements: 

  • Educational Qualification: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree/HND from a reputable and accredited University/Polytechnic
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office suite. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Minimum of 1-year work experience
  • Fluency in Spoken English

Other Information: Must possess a working and efficient smartphone and proficient in the use of social media as a tool for content creation
