Job Summary

A Real Estate Development Company is urgently in need of a confident, passionate, and self-motivated young professional for immediate employment as Manager, Business Development and Sales to research, develop and implement new and effective marketing and sales strategies, drive business growth and supervise a team of seasoned Sales Executives in planning and carrying out direct marketing and sales of company products and services and oversee ALL aspects of any campaign throughout the entire life span of a project, product, service or idea so as to build clientele base, meet sales targets, maintain and manage the client relationship. The Manager, Business Development and Sales will also be responsible for taking new and existing products from launch to profitability (meeting specified sales targets), mentoring and managing his team effectively to enhance sales, increase revenue and give periodic reports of marketing efforts and performance of his team.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

To mentor and manage his sales team effectively carry out the following;

  • Conducts customer/market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
  • Analyses customer research, and reports on current market conditions and competitor information from time to time
  • Develops and implement marketing strategies
  • Plans and projects for new and existing products to meet customer needs
  • Creates new businesses and identifies new customers for the company’s products and services
  • Prepares, presents and follows up on winning proposals to prospects, when necessary
  • Maintains viable relationships with existing customers to satisfy their needs and keeps them delighted, retained, and committed
  • Maintains and develops corporate image and reputation and company brand via suitable PR activities and intellectual property Management.
  • Develop sales pitches to corporate customers including presentations, conferences, exhibitions, road shows individual office calls, etc.
  • Advises Management on product performance, product development, pricing, and other recommendations arising from market information
  • Recruits, mentors, trains and manages sales executives to drive the company’s products
  • Maintains accurate records of sales and provides accurate and timely reports to management on business performance
  • Handles debt management and control
  • Liaises between the company and relevant statutory bodies
  • Controls expenses to optimize cost and meet budget and business performance goals
  • Appraises subordinates promptly and objectively
  • Takes responsibility for the training, coaching, and mentoring of subordinates
  • Ensure new sales are made as per the given monthly, quarterly, and yearly target
  • Generate new leads for all company’s products and services
  • Ensure that his team members constantly engage the leads generated regularly
  • Ensure that his team members are able to convert the leads into loyal customers
  • Organize and accompany prospects and/or existing clients’ on-site inspections where necessary
  • Ensure proper management of the client’s Business and relationship with the Company
  • Carry out all other sales team and individual activities/duties as may be necessary to achieve and surpass set sales targets.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of either an HND or B.Sc in Marketing, Estate Management, or any related field
  • Proven experience in high ticket transactions and prior experience in sales of Real Estate products is an added advantage
  • At least 5 -10 years post-NYSC experience in Marketing and Sales, Estate Management, or other relevant field with a proven track record of business development in a real estate establishment
  • Interpersonal and people skills
  • Excellent Presentation skills and Communication skills (both written and speaking)
  • Time management skills
  • People Management skills
  • Record history of meeting and surpassing set targets
  • The ability to drive with a valid driver’s license is also an added advantage.


Remuneration: NGN 200,000 - 300,000
