Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a maintenance planning/scheduling program to track and implement all fleet and equipment maintenance seamlessly.
• Create and manage a structure to optimize fleet operational hours, including tracking and reporting.
• Design and implement forms, checklists, and formats to support the maintenance unit team, including Technicians and Mechanics.
• Communicate pre-planned maintenance schedules to all stakeholders, ensuring proper coordination with clients.
• Ensure strict adherence to maintenance schedules by the technical team.
• Track and report on truck spare parts and lubricants usage weekly.
• Identify and implement proactive maintenance strategies to ensure efficient operations.
• Develop and update company policies and standard operating procedures for all maintenance work, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Draft maintenance reports to measure and improve team performance.
• Continuously re-evaluate and implement new maintenance processes to drive organizational objectives.
• Monitor expenses and control the maintenance budget, focusing on cost reduction through preventive and proactive approaches.
• Oversee all repair and installation activities, ensuring timely and effective completion.
• Maintain equipment inventory, placing orders as necessary.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors for truck parts, negotiating terms favorable to the company.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies by the maintenance team at all times.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a construction company.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, procedures, and industry regulations.
• Proven ability to develop and implement maintenance strategies that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.

The working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

The working days: (Monday – Friday)

Remuneration: NGN 250,000-500,000
