Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating the movement of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and help manage stock to prevent shortages or excesses.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
• Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to resolve any issues related to shipments or deliveries.
• Track shipments and update stakeholders on the status of deliveries.
• Support the logistics team in analyzing transportation costs and identifying areas for improvement.
• Help maintain accurate records of logistics activities and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Assist in scheduling transportation and coordinating with carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.
• Participate in the development of logistics plans and strategies to optimize supply chain processes.

Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of HND/BSC or Equivalent from a Higher Institute of Learning in Transport management or a related field.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years cognate experience in Logistics and Facilities and equipment management.
• Stakeholder relationship management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit apps
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Should not be more than 27 years old.
• Should be Male.
