Lebanese International School- French/Performing Arts Teachers

Responsibilities:

Performing Arts Teacher : As a key summary of the job description, 
Learning and teaching:

• Be a reflective practitioner with the ability to evaluate and develop practice within the classroom.
• Plan lessons and learning activities with purpose and clear objectives
• Use effective methodologies in all aspects of learning, teaching, assessment, and feedback
• Deliver extracurricular activities that enrich the curriculum and sporting life of the school.
• Work as a team, attending meetings and contributing to the further development of the performing arts curriculum

Community builder:

• Able and willing to develop positive and constructive relationships with students, parents and the wider community
• Willing to grow personally and professionally in a purpose-led environment through a variety of opportunities and support (professional development, workshops, etc.)
• Actively engaged in fostering a nurturing school culture and taking initiative to develop it further through performing arts

French Language Teacher:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French language lessons to students in Grades 1 to 4.
• Develop age-appropriate curriculum materials and assessments that align with the school's standards and objectives.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in French, Education, or a related field. Teaching certification and/or relevant qualifications.
