As part of efforts to ensure effective project delivery, we are required to implement Lean “thinking” initiatives in the execution of the Project.

Experience Length: 7 years
Develop initiatives that involve the implementation of methods to identify and reduce waste during the project.
The Lean Implementation Coordinator shall, as part of mobilisation, conduct a lean awareness workshop for key Sub-Contractors, Vendors, and site management team members.
Issue weekly reports to the PM on Lean Initiatives implemented weekly throughout the duration of the project, the report from the coordinator shall form part of the weekly and monthly project reports to SPDC.
Principle accountability is to drive the lean behaviour change in operations including support functions through coaching and influencing.
Analyzes production and operational processes and provides recommendations for improvement in line with lean principles. Drives approval of the recommendations and prioritization of the resulting initiatives
Create an environment of continuous improvement through empowerment, education, and training.
Ensure compliance with the expenditure budget allocated.
Develop lean roadmap/master plan for the entire site and provide assistance for the execution thereof.
Deliver a clear understanding of the requirements for the lean journey necessary to build a productive environment that improves productivity, delivery and improve safety, quality and cost.
